Note: This section will really only be helpful on
Linux systems, but considering these things are covered through other means on
other operating systems, it’s not the end of the world.
While eog can be used to open images, the evince
command can be used to open PDF files.
Using evince file.pdf will open the PDF in a new window.
Once the file is closed, you can resume using your Terminal window for running
commands.
